Linda is simply the best. There, I said it. I help my clients with a lot of custom window treatments and custom bedding, and I truly look forward to working with Linda every single time to make my vision come to life! She is incredibly talented and has such a great mind for the construction and installation of everything she creates. Linda has helped me design some pretty amazing things and has helped me solve MANY design dilemmas. I trust her judgement and know my clients are going to get extraordinary quality. I had the pleasure of installing for Linda Tully owner of Tully Drapery Shop for several years. She has an amazing talent in window coverings design, creativity for fabrication, and unique engineering for installation. Linda was present at every install, big or small, and would always help out, even climbing tall ladders. She is a hard worker and does not shy away from a challenge. I was very sad when Linda moved away from Arizona, but very grateful for the years I had contracted for Tully Drapery Shop. I have known Linda Tully for about 15 years. I have had the honor and privilege of working alongside Linda in the workroom for about 7yrs. I began in this industry the day Linda took me under her wing and taught me the amazing craft and skill of custom work in home decor. Linda is meticulous with her work and has the greatest talent working and creating such amazing treatments out of a simple bolt of fabric. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. Her ability to draft rendered drawings by hand and bring such a beautiful design on paper into reality is simply amazing. I worked with Linda in Arizona and she taught me such great skills, tricks and ideas that I carry with me today. She marches to her own beat. Linda is the kind of person who works SO hard, but she definitely works SMART. She was and is the BEST teacher for this kind of work. Linda is so patient, calm and thorough with everything she would have me do while we worked together. Even if I didn’t know how to do something, she always had a way of explaining it beautifully. What I know is she has a great gift that comes naturally to her and she works gracefully. Most people have to study, train and read up on the latest trends, styles of treatments, etc. I am sure Linda stays on top of updating herself on designs as well, but she always has a way of doing it with her own sense of style and flair that makes it her own. Even though we are many states away, I still keep in contact with her for assistance and guidance on challenges I face. She is my “go-to” teacher! I, to this day, still boastfully express to others what a terrific educator and leader she is to the trade. I was and still am proud that I was a part of Tully Drapery Shop and the work we did. I am grateful she took time to teach me what I know today and apply it to my own business. I’ve had many moments of doubting my ability to do this trade and Linda always believes in me more than myself. I would not be where I am today without her encouraging and believing in my own potential. I wish there were more teachers/ leaders like her in this industry.
